This volume showed upward in my Amazon recommendations. I am very thankful that information technology did. Now at starting time I was hesitant to buy this book based on the toll signal, number of pages and not knowing the author. Simply at the time his book The Fettle Expert Next Door (How to Change Your Life in 10 Minutes a Day) was bachelor for gratis on Amazon. I read it and loved it. I accept read 5 of Stawicki's viii books in the final few weeks and will finish the remaining books soon. Ane of the quotes from this book that grabbed me most was "Empathize that each conclusion or action in your life could be the beginning of a change in direction." Reading this book can be one of those decisions for y'all!

Some reviews of Michal's books criticize the English. And Michal admits that his native tongue is not English, simply he does an first-class job communicating. And the few rough phrasings are more than made upwards for by the quality of the content. In another review I compare his writings to those of Robin Sharma, Stephen R. Covey, Dan Millman and John C. Maxwell. This book is short, concise and relays some great data. And it is non just head knowledge it is knowledge that Michal has gained from making changes in his own life. The power of story, his story, and stories he uses of others to give examples beyond his own tin can motivate you to making changes in your own life.

Summary

Each chapter has the main teaching points and so a Knowledge Items summary at the end, and some have action items and so you can start putting the tips into practise. I found I copied a number of these Knowledge summaries equally reminders of adjacent steps. On page 22 he states "Intention, attitude, and delivery determine your consistency" This knowledge point was i of the most impactful for me in the book. He also provides links to another articles, TED talks and other resource to go deeper on some of the key teachings. Later on in the book he declares "If you lot wanted to walk north, you would follow a compass. The compass needle would bear witness you the way. Reason-powered motivation is your internal compass, always pointing you north. Information technology's the real reason for starting and continuing a subject field. It is a values-driven conclusion from deep inside that you want a certain upshot. Some days you will not feel much similar going out and working toward information technology. The flames in your fire may be burning low from time to time, peculiarly after a big discouragement. Simply the fire never goes out.
You can't depend on emotion-based motivation to fuel consistency. Depending on emotional motivation is a recipe for catastrophe every bit emotions are non constant.
Rather, you should place much more reliance on reason-fueled motivation. The real reasons for a journey don't merely disappear in i instant. Your appetite to become "n" will motivate yous to keep going when the going gets tough. It tin can dorsum you up when you lot lose your hope. It can add a needed compression of passion to your mundane activities, which will make them interesting enough that y'all continue your journey. It may save your life literally and metaphorically." Further on he says: "You tin practise this also. Motivate yourself with purpose-driven self-talk and reflection every twenty-four hour period, and you will enjoy a fresh source of sustained free energy that will propel you towards your goals.
Motivation is a powerful tool. Wait for ways to motivate yourself into activity by drawing forcefulness from the inspiration that comes from your ideas and the ability that comes from your behavior and values." From these two and the following quote "A life purpose is and then powerful because, every bit its name says, it'south a part of your whole life. It'south always deep in your eye and will back up y'all in your struggles" we become the main betoken of his argument. In order for changes to take hold, for them to final and go habits the desire to change needs to be values based, and not just passion based. From that values centred if yous can craft your life purpose, and piece of work towards it every day it will fuel the journey and drive the change even when you hit the hard times.

What is your purpose, are you striving towards something or just existing? Michal says: "Your personal philosophy is your life attitude, which is formed past all of your past experiences and the meanings you gave them. It'south your accumulated life knowledge and wisdom. As you become aware that y'all accept an mental attitude towards life, you can systematically investigate and develop it using your analytic abilities. Unfortunately, not many people do this. For virtually people, their personal philosophy is just something that has molded itself through various life experiences rather than something they deliberately shaped." Are you willing to work to find your purpose and and then pursue it? If so this volume and his book A Personal Mission Statement: Your Road Map to Happiness will aid you lot along that path.

Some of the best communication in the books is: "Here are some ways we tin work at the detail level to improve your general capacity to be consistent:
1. Make it equally enjoyable as possible.
ii. Brand your goal public noesis.
3. Make time for the action yous want to undertake.
4. Don't set the bar too high too early.
5. Go far easy to say yeah (or no).
half dozen. Runway your progress.
7. Brand decisions now."

Michal declares: "If yous really want to be satisfied in your life, to say goodbye to your frustrations, you must start enjoying the process of achievement, not just the destination itself." And then grab this book and start that journey, and if yous are already on it, it will likely help you forward. "Realize this: there is no magic formula that ensures results through processes you volition always enjoy. Keeping your focus on beingness consequent is ofttimes plainly difficult work. Merely if you don't get at least some satisfaction from the steps along the way, your chances for staying consistent in your efforts volition lessen rapidly." So go the book and let's get to work!

This was an insightful book on how important consistency is in the fine art of persistence.

Below are some actually important things to recall nigh consistency:

"Focus on consistency, non on the results. They will come with time if you lot persevere. If you lot give up, at that place is no power in the universe (peradventure except a divine intervention) that can help you lot get the results y'all desire. Being consequent is more of import than beingness successful. Consistency leads to success, non the other way around."

I actually liked and learned from this book.

This volume was a "let's become down to business" type of self assist book. I enjoyed reading this volume and it was obvious that the author didn't write this volume just to brand a quick buck, but he really wants to aid. If you similar reading Tony Robbins books, you volition appreciate this book. The volume isn't long but it says what information technology needs to say.

Does not deliver...

This book did non click for me at all. I was looking for some tools, strategies etc. to meliorate my consistency. Instead read 100 or so pages with definitions of purpose, goals, life philosophy and and then on. With no actual guidance of how to create each of those for oneself. Book tells you loftier-level "what", but does not tell "how".

And the fact information technology is written in "Smooth" English with grammar mistakes etc. makes it even more than "amateur". I am as well from Poland and my English is not gr

And the fact it is written in "Shine" English with grammar mistakes etc. makes it even more "apprentice". I am also from Poland and my English is not keen either, only if I was planning to publish a volume, at least I'd run it by English language native editor found on fiverr or similar.

I can't recommend this volume to anyone.

An interesting book

It took me a month or so to read through this book. When I wasn't reading information technology I did remember about some of the ideas and words that he wrote.
